Make sure to read the included readme.txt file on how to update this add-on with the 1.1 patch!

Features of this add-on:
  • Castbars are able to be placed anywhere on the screen.
  • Individual scaling of each castbar.
  • Individual scaling of each castbar's text.
  • Possible to offset the text's Y position.
  • Tweaked graphics of the castbars.
  • Alert system for specific abilities (user defined).
  • The text from the dodge bar has been removed (you know what it does from the colour).

Click the icon to the right of the compass to open the settings window and allow for the bars to be moved.
Click the icon while holding down Ctrl to open the Target Ability Alert system window.

For moving/placing I've made a few minor helpers as well:
  • If you Ctrl + click a castbar it will center horizontally on the screen.
  • If you hold down Shift while moving a castbar it will lock its movement to the axis it moved the longest on. Basically it means that if you moved it up further than you moved it to the side, it will snap into the X position it was at when you started moving it, once you release the mouse button (while still holding Shift).

Also if you Shift + click the icon the castbars will get reset to their default positions (default for this add-on, which is the same placement used in version 1.0.0).

  • Fixed Target Ability Alert being broken in 2.1.4.

Version 2.1.4
  • Changed the text for the castbars to use HTML rendering as the Quantum Brace has its ability names formatted as such.

Version 2.1.3
  • The TAA window should no longer fail to load correctly.
  • When moving the bars and holding down shift they now lock while moving and not just when you release the mouse.
  • Right clicking on a bar will reset it to its default position.

Version 2.1.2
  • Should hopefully better hook onto the compass now.
  • Fixed a bug with ability alerts with repeating alerts not triggering.
  • Now suports the Topbar Information Overload Add-on Manager.

Please note: If you use this together with the new Add-on Manager in Topbar Information Overload you will have to slot the icon into position before it shows up. You do this through the Add-on Manager by Shift + clicking Castbar Relocator in the list and assigning it a slot.

Version 2.1.1
  • Updated for patch 1.1 - read the readme.txt for important information on how to install as it now uses a new structure.
  • Possible to open the settings window using the /vcr slash command (assuming you also install the script - check the readme.txt).
  • Icon now waits for the compass to show up before trying to hook itself to it, which should solve icons hiding under the Menu button.
  • The Target Ability Alert window can now be opened from the settings window.

Version 2.1.0
  • Added Target Ability Alert system.
  • Removed debug text which accidently got left in.

Very Helpful

You stated you think it isn't that great with what it is, however I find it extremely helpful and much easier to see when/what ability a mob is using with this and helps me play more precisely having this info right in my face. Thanks for that.

I really look forward to trying this mod. I was wondering if you could design it as an arc? I think it may be less obtrusive that way.

Not sure what you mean regarding designing it as an arc. Could you elaborate?

If case you mean placement then I will soon make it possible to place them freely wherever you want.

That is a separate add-on I'm working on getting finished, but haven't had much time to get back to it yet. It is however very high on my list to get out, as I know a lot of people want it (including myself).

Using this method all my other addons are working, however this is not functioning at all leaving me to believe that there is something wrong with the swf file? anyone got it working please help me out. Thank you in advance

I LOVE THIS!! Sure Wish I had the Working Knowledge of ActionScript that you possess...

I do have a request, tho. Can You Please add the Options to Show/Hide Text...Even for the DodgeBar?
I know it seems stupid to have that text there, but some people may want to see it...
Just as some people may not want to see the Spell Names.

IMHO, I've always thought that knowing the Target's Spell Name takes away from the Challenge.
Forcing a Player to Learn/Recognize the Audio Semantics & Somatic Animations to Identify an Enemy's Action...

Now that's a Challenge!!

Imagine if you could Hide the CastBars altogether...Would make a nice RP Mode Option.
I realize setting the Scale to 0% would achieve this, but having a Labled Single-Click Option...
...would be Quicker & Introduce this RP Hide Mode Idea to Players.

Hey guys! Can't get this plugin to work correctly.. everything works except the button to the top right of the compass does not show up for me to be able to move the bars. Using deck manager and Team GUI add-ons but I don't see how they would conflict with it. Had a cabal member send me his default folder, I reinstalled the game, and tried to reapply but it doesn't seem to work even though my cabal mate has his working fine. All the other add-ons that he had from his folder has transferred and is working minus that one. Thanks so much for all you have done! ^^
